⚠️ Power & Air Requirements: This machine is an electric-pneumatic integrated unit (pneumatic actuation + electric control). It must be connected to a 220V / 50–60Hz power supply (power draw only ~100W) and to an air compressor with supply pressure 0.4–0.6 MPa. Difference vs. the FF6 fully-pneumatic paste-filling series: the FF2 adds an electric control system for steadier filling cycles and more precise control; the FF6 runs entirely without electricity and suits explosion-proof applications.

ℹ️ Versatility Note: The FF2 is optimized for paste and high-viscosity products (sauce, cream, ointment, honey, ketchup, etc.) and also fills free-flowing liquids (water, juice, milk, oil, etc.) — one machine covers both paste and liquid filling tasks.

core Abstract

The FF2 series is Wenzhou T&D's semi-automatic horizontal electric-pneumatic paste filling machine (Pneumatic & Electric Integrated) — optimized for paste and high-viscosity products while remaining capable of filling free-flowing liquids. It covers 8 models (FF2-50/100/300/500/1000/2500/3000/5000) with filling ranges from 5–50 ml up to 500–5000 ml. The machine uses an electric-pneumatic integrated design — pneumatic actuation with electric control: it requires 220V/50–60Hz power (approx. 100W) plus an air compressor supply of 0.4–0.6 MPa. It is fitted with Airtac pneumatic components and fills at 5–30 cycles/min (paste-tuned — slower than liquid-only fillers because paste requires more time per stroke). The frame is 201 stainless steel, and all product-contact parts are food-grade 304 stainless steel (316 stainless steel available on request). Piston-type volumetric filling delivers ±1% accuracy with bottom-close positive shutoff drip-free nozzles (orifice 5–25 mm selectable, sized for paste flow). The feed system comes with a 30L hopper as standard; 40L, 60L or 80L larger hoppers are optional, and the unit can be fitted with a heating hopper (keeps temperature-sensitive products flowing), a stirring hopper (prevents settling and separation) or a pressurized hopper (assists feeding of high-viscosity pastes) to match product characteristics. Two trigger modes — foot pedal or automatic timer — let the operator switch between semi-automatic and automatic operation. The filler comes with a single filling head as standard; dual-head, 4-head or 6-head versions can be customized. Suitable for cosmetics (creams, lotions, gels), food (sauce, jam, honey, ketchup, peanut butter), daily chemicals (shampoo, hand cream), pharmaceuticals (ointments), and chemical products (lubricants, adhesives), as well as free-flowing liquids.

1.2 Applications

Designed for paste and high-viscosity products as the primary use case, with free-flowing liquids as a secondary capability — one machine, two product categories. Typical products and industries:

Primary — Paste / High-Viscosity:

  • Food: sauce, ketchup, jam, honey, peanut butter, chocolate paste, mustard, mayonnaise
  • Cosmetics & Personal Care: face cream, body lotion, hand cream, shampoo (thick), shower gel, hair conditioner, gel
  • Daily Chemicals: detergent paste, dish soap (thick), shoe polish
  • Pharmaceutical: ointments, topical creams, medicinal paste
  • Chemical: lubricants, adhesives, sealing compounds

Secondary — Free-Flowing Liquids:

  • drinking water, juice, milk, edible oil, liquid seasonings, liquid medicine, liquid detergents

Typical Customers: small-to-medium paste / cosmetic / food producers; sauce / honey / ketchup / cosmetic filling lines; pharmaceutical compounding facilities; workshops with stable power and air supply; businesses filling both paste SKUs and liquid SKUs and wanting one machine for both; frequent changeover producers.

1.3 Key Functions

  • Piston-type volumetric filling optimized for paste: cylinder-driven piston with adjustable stroke — handles thick products (sauce, cream, ointment) without splashing or pulling apart; volume is steplessly adjustable within the model range; change specs without changing parts
  • Liquid-capable as a bonus: switch from paste to liquid with a nozzle change and a piston-stroke adjustment; one machine covers both product categories
  • Electric-pneumatic integrated control: pneumatic actuation driven by precise electric control — steady cycle timing, filling speed 5–30 cycles/min (paste-tuned; slower than liquid-only fillers because paste requires longer per-stroke settling)
  • Dual trigger modes: foot-pedal switch (semi-auto) or automatic timer (auto); semi-auto ⇄ auto switchable
  • Drip-free filling: bottom-close positive shutoff nozzles — discharge seals the moment filling ends; no stringing, no dripping, no paste tail on bottle mouths (critical for cosmetic and food applications)
  • Customizable filling heads: single head as standard; dual (2-head), 4-head or 6-head configurations available for proportionally higher output
  • Adjustable fill volume and speed: match different container formats (small jars, large buckets) and line paces
  • Flexible hopper / feed options: standard 30L hopper; optional 40L / 60L / 80L larger hoppers reduce refill stops; optional heating hopper (temperature control keeps products flowing), stirring hopper (prevents settling, separation and surface skinning) or pressurized hopper (assists feeding of high-viscosity pastes) to match the product

2. Key Advantages

Electric-pneumatic integration (Pneumatic & Electric Integrated) is the biggest selling point of this series — the first five advantages below all center on it. Versatility (paste + liquid in one machine) is the second key advantage.

  1. Electric-pneumatic drive — more precise control, steadier cycles. Electric control combined with pneumatic actuation keeps the filling cycle precisely timed by the electrical system. In long continuous runs the cycle stays consistent with excellent batch repeatability; filling speed is 5–30 cycles/min and can be adjusted to the production pace.
  2. Electric control timer — finer automatic mode settings. In automatic mode the fill interval is governed by the electric timer: fine adjustment, fast response — ideal for rhythm-based continuous paste filling.
  3. Airtac pneumatic components. Taiwan Airtac cylinders and valves deliver stable action and long service life — important for paste applications where the cylinder works against higher back-pressure. Spare parts are easy to source globally and long-term maintenance cost stays low.
  4. Ultra-low power — minimal running cost. Total power draw is only approx. 100W (0.1 kW) and it runs on any standard 220V/50–60Hz outlet; electricity cost is almost negligible. Air consumption is on par with comparable pneumatic fillers.
  5. Simple to operate — connect and start. Connect power (220V) and air (0.4–0.6 MPa), and production can begin. The electric control panel is intuitive and new operators learn quickly.
  6. 201 stainless steel frame + food-grade 304 stainless steel contact parts; 316 available. The all-stainless frame and food-grade product-contact parts meet food-safety requirements as standard (304); product-contact parts can be customized in 316 stainless steel for stronger acid/alkali and corrosion resistance — suited to pharmaceutical, chemical and corrosive products. A stainless steel valve assembly resists corrosion and is easy to keep clean — critical for paste where residue is harder to remove.
  7. ±1% filling accuracy + drip-free nozzles. Piston metering is stable and reliable for paste (no under/over-fill); bottom-close positive shutoff nozzles eliminate dripping, stringing and paste tailing, keeping bottle mouths and the workbench clean — essential for cosmetic jars, food containers and pharma packaging.
  8. Paste + liquid in one machine — versatility and value. The FF2 is optimized for paste but also fills free-flowing liquids: change the nozzle, adjust the piston stroke and switch product categories. One machine replaces two single-purpose fillers (paste-only and liquid-only).
  9. 8 models cover 5–5000 ml; changeover at zero cost. Adjust the piston stroke to change the fill volume — no parts replacement needed; a spec change takes just 2–3 minutes. Covers everything from sample-size cosmetic jars to large buckets.
  10. Flexible hopper — 30L standard, heating/stirring/pressurized options. The hopper comes standard at 30L, with 40L, 60L or 80L larger sizes available to cut refill stops on high-volume lines. For hard-to-handle products, fit a heating hopper (keeps honey, chocolate paste and other temperature-sensitive products flowing), a stirring hopper (prevents settling, separation and surface skinning in particulate sauces) or a pressurized hopper (assists feeding of very viscous pastes for a steadier supply) — one machine adapts to different paste characteristics.
  11. Horizontal, compact and lightweight. The horizontal body has a small footprint and weighs only 22–32 kg (net), so it fits on a tabletop, workbench or in an existing line and is easy to move.
  12. Food-grade silicone seals (rated 200 °C). Food-safe silicone O-rings as standard; corrosion-resistant rubber seals can be fitted when filling corrosive or sticky products.
  13. Semi-auto ⇄ auto switchable and multi-head expandable. Start with foot-pedal semi-auto operation; when volume grows, switch to automatic timer mode or upgrade the single head to a dual/4-head/6-head machine — no equipment replacement, no wasted investment.

Talking Points:

  • Customer fills paste / high-viscosity materials (sauce, jam, cream, ointment, ketchup, honey, lotion) → lead with the FF2: piston-type design handles thick products without splashing; bottom-close positive shutoff nozzle eliminates paste residue on bottle mouths; ±1% accuracy.
  • Customer fills both paste AND liquidsbiggest value proposition: one FF2 machine covers both product categories — change the nozzle, adjust the piston stroke, switch from sauce to juice in minutes. One machine replaces two single-purpose fillers.
  • Customer values cycle stability & control precision → lead with this machine: electric-pneumatic control keeps cycles consistent in long runs for stable batch quality — important for paste where under/over-fill is more visible.
  • Customer's workshop has stable power and is used to electric-controlled equipment → highlight the intuitive electric control panel, fine timer adjustment and quick learning curve.
  • Customer has no power in the workshop, or fills flammable liquids such as alcohol-based solvents (explosion-proof required)cross-sell the FF6 fully-pneumatic paste-filling series: it runs with no electricity and is intrinsically safe for explosion-proof duty — the FF2/FF6 pair covers both types of customers so no order is lost.
  • Customer fills only free-flowing liquids (no paste) → guide them to the F2 liquid filler instead — same electric-pneumatic architecture, liquid-tuned speed (10–40 cycles/min), smaller nozzle (3–12 mm). FF2 is over-spec for liquid-only lines.
  • Customer fills multiple specifications → emphasize "adjust the stroke to change the volume — no parts change; one machine replaces several."
  • Customer has no air compressor → proactively remind them: this machine still requires an air compressor (0.4–0.6 MPa) — offer to add one to the order so the machine can run on arrival.
  • Customer needs higher output → steer them to a dual/4-head/6-head multi-head machine, or to automatic timer mode, emphasizing "start semi-auto, upgrade to auto + multi-head, without changing the machine."
  • Customer runs big batches and the hopper frequently runs dry → recommend a 40L / 60L / 80L larger hopper to cut refill stops and keep the line running.
  • Customer's product needs heating, stirring or pressurized feeding (honey, chocolate paste and other temperature-sensitive products; particulate or settling-prone sauce/jam; very viscous, hard-to-feed pastes) → match with the heating hopper (temperature control keeps product flowing), stirring hopper (prevents settling, separation and surface skinning) or pressurized hopper (assists feeding of very viscous pastes).
  • Customer handles pharmaceutical/chemical or corrosive products → promote custom 316 stainless steel contact parts — corrosion resistance sorted in one step.
  • Trading terms (standard quotation wording): MOQ 1 unit; FOB Ningbo / EXW Wenzhou; T/T payment; goods in stock; heavy-duty carton packing with tools and spare parts included.

4.2 FAQ

Q1: Does this machine need electricity? A: Yes. The FF2 series is an electric-pneumatic integrated unit: the electric control section requires a 220V / 50–60Hz supply (power draw only ~100W), while the filling motion is powered by compressed air, so an air compressor (0.4–0.6 MPa) must also be connected.

Q2: Do I need an air compressor? A: Yes. The machine uses pneumatic actuation with electric control, so it must be connected to an air compressor supplying 0.4–0.6 MPa. An ordinary small piston-type compressor (with an air receiver/tank) is sufficient; one can also be added to the order.

Q3: Is the machine explosion-proof? A: The FF2 is an electric-pneumatic model (it contains electric control parts) and is not intended as an explosion-proof unit. If the workshop has explosion-proof requirements, or the customer needs to fill flammable liquids such as alcohol-based solvents, please recommend the FF6 fully-pneumatic paste-filling series (no electricity at all; intrinsically safe, explosion-proof).

Q4: What are the filling accuracy and speed? A: Accuracy is within ±1% (piston-type metering — stable, no drift); speed is 5–30 cycles/min (paste-tuned; slower than liquid-only fillers because paste requires longer per-stroke settling), and the filling speed is adjustable.

Q5: Can it fill both paste and liquids? What products can it handle? A: Yes — the FF2 is optimized for paste and high-viscosity products, and also fills free-flowing liquids. Primary use: sauce, ketchup, jam, honey, peanut butter, chocolate paste, mustard, mayonnaise; face cream, body lotion, hand cream, shampoo (thick), shower gel, hair conditioner; ointments; detergents (thick); lubricants and adhesives. Secondary use: water, juice, milk, edible oil, liquid seasonings, liquid medicine, liquid detergents. One machine covers both paste and liquid categories — change the nozzle, adjust the piston stroke, switch product categories in minutes.

Q6: How is the FF2 different from the F2 liquid filler? A: Both use the same electric-pneumatic integrated architecture (220V/50–60Hz, ~100W + 0.4–0.6 MPa air). The differences:

  • F2 is liquid-only — faster (10–40 cycles/min), smaller nozzle (3–12 mm), optimized for free-flowing liquids.
  • FF2 is paste-primary, liquid-secondary — slower (5–30 cycles/min), larger nozzle (5–25 mm), piston geometry tuned for thick products, drip-free nozzle designed to handle paste residue.

If the customer fills only liquids, recommend F2. If the customer fills paste (or both paste and liquid), recommend FF2.

Q7: Are the product-contact materials food grade? A: The frame is 201 stainless steel and all product-contact parts are food-grade 304 stainless steel, meeting food-safety requirements; 316 stainless steel can be customized (greater acid/alkali and corrosion resistance — suited to pharmaceutical, chemical and corrosive products). Seals are food-grade silicone (rated 200 °C).

Q8: Will it drip, string or paste-tail? A: No. The nozzle uses a bottom-close positive shutoff design — the discharge closes the moment filling ends, guaranteeing drip-free operation. For paste applications this is critical: no stringing, no paste tail, no residue on the bottle mouth — keeping cosmetic jars, food containers and pharma packaging clean. Nozzle orifices can be selected within a 5–25 mm range (sized for paste flow).

Q9: Is changing the fill volume or switching between paste and liquid troublesome? A: Not at all. Within the model's range you simply adjust the piston stroke to change the fill volume — no parts replacement needed; a changeover takes only a few minutes. Switching between paste and liquid is also simple: change the nozzle (paste nozzle vs. liquid nozzle) and adjust the piston stroke and speed — a few minutes, no tools required.

Q10: Can it run fully automatically? What if I need more output later? A: Yes. The machine supports both foot-pedal (semi-automatic) and automatic timer (automatic) modes and can be switched at any time. For higher output you can order a dual (2-head), 4-head or 6-head multi-head version (one cylinder per head) — no machine replacement needed.

Q11: What are the MOQ, delivery time and warranty? A: MOQ is 1 unit; the factory keeps goods in stock for fast dispatch; export packing is a heavy-duty carton, one machine per case, with tools and spare parts included. The machine carries a 1-year warranty (free repair or part replacement for non-human damage during the warranty period; international freight borne by the customer), with lifetime maintenance service after the warranty period.

Q12: Can I choose the hopper capacity? Can I get a heating, stirring or pressurized hopper? A: Yes. The hopper comes standard at 30L, with 40L, 60L or 80L larger options for high-volume lines that need fewer refill stops. Three hopper types can also be fitted to suit the product: a heating hopper (temperature control keeps honey, chocolate paste, syrup and other products that thicken when cool free-flowing); a stirring hopper (continuous agitation prevents settling, separation and surface skinning — ideal for fruit-piece jams/sauces and settling-prone products); and a pressurized hopper (compressed air assists stable feeding of very viscous pastes for a steadier supply). Choose according to your product characteristics and output.

6.2 Sales Workflow (from inquiry to delivery)

  1. Requirement confirmation: fill volume per cycle (ml), speed requirement, product type (paste / liquid / both) → drives model range and nozzle size; workshop power specification (220V/50–60Hz; other voltages to be confirmed with the factory), whether the customer already has an air compressor, and whether explosion-proof duty applies (if yes → switch to the FF6 fully-pneumatic paste-filling series).
  2. Model recommendation: if paste (or paste + liquid) → recommend FF2-50 ~ FF2-5000 per the 4.1 table; if liquid-only → recommend the F2 series instead; for higher output, recommend a dual/4/6-head multi-head version.
  3. Supporting equipment check: confirm the power supply matches and the customer has an air compressor (0.4–0.6 MPa, with delivery volume covering the machine's air consumption) so the machine can run on arrival.
  4. Lock technical details: material (304 / custom 316), nozzle orifice (paste: 5–25 mm / liquid: 3–12 mm), seals (silicone / corrosion-resistant rubber), number of filling heads (single / dual / 4 / 6), foot-pedal vs. timer mode.
  5. Quotation & terms: MOQ 1 unit; FOB Ningbo / EXW Wenzhou; T/T; goods in stock; heavy-duty carton packing with tools and spare parts included.
  6. Order → shipment: ships from stock, one machine per case, export heavy-duty carton packing.
  7. After-sales support: 1-year warranty (free repair/part replacement; international freight borne by the customer), lifetime maintenance service after warranty; operation video and remote guidance provided.
