FA4-500 Automatic Paste and Liquid Filling Line

FA4-500 Automatic Paste and Liquid Filling Line

The FA4-500 Automatic Paste and Liquid Filling Line is a turnkey filling production line from Wenzhou T&D Packaging Machinery Factory, consisting of a FA4-500 four-head piston filling machine (50–500 ml), a DC1 automatic screwing capping machine, and a cap feeding machine, connected by a 2 m stainless steel conveyor. It fills both paste and liquid products into plastic or glass bottles at 1200–1800 bottles/hour with ±1% filling accuracy, and is widely used in cosmetics, food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries.

1. Product Overview

Item Description
Category Automatic paste and liquid filling line
Model FA4-500 (line configuration: FA4-500 filling machine + DC1 capping machine + cap feeding machine + conveyor)
Filling Range 50–500 ml
Applicable Products Paste and liquid: creams, serums, personal care products, sauces, pharmaceutical liquids, household chemical products, etc.
Applicable Containers Plastic (PET) bottles, glass bottles, etc.
Application Scenarios Small and medium-sized automated filling workshops in cosmetics, food, pharmaceutical and daily chemical industries
Core Functions Automatic bottle unscrambling / conveying → multi-head piston volumetric filling → automatic cap feeding and placing → automatic capping → finished product output

The line is built from three main machines: the FA4-500 four-head automatic filling machine (2, 4, 6 or 8 heads available), the DC1 automatic screwing capping machine, and the cap feeding machine, linked by a 2 m conveyor (customisable). It delivers fully automatic continuous production from empty bottle infeed to capped finished product.

2. Core Advantages

  1. Piston volumetric filling with ±1% accuracy: Taiwan-brand PLC touchscreen control with AirTAC pneumatic components; filling volume and filling speed are set directly on the HMI.
  2. Handles both paste and liquid: Bottom close positive shutoff nozzles prevent stringing and dripping, suitable for both paste and liquid products.
  3. German SICK photoelectric sensors: No bottle, no filling; no bottle, no capping — reducing material waste and rejects.
  4. All-stainless-steel construction: 201 stainless steel frame, food-grade 304 stainless steel material-contact parts, with 316 stainless steel optional (contact parts or whole machine).
  5. Optional head count, flexible expansion: 2/4/6/8 filling heads to match capacity requirements; other filling ranges of 5-100 ml / 30-300 ml / 100-1000 ml / 300-3000 ml / 500-5000 ml are available.
  6. Conveyor with fixing device: Good filling stability; 2 m conveyor supplied as standard, specification customisable.
  7. Pneumatic and electric dual drive: Stable performance, simple operation, easy installation and adjustment.
  8. One-year warranty on the whole machine: Free parts for quality problems during the warranty period, plus lifetime repair service.

4. Sales Suggestions & FAQ

Sales Suggestions

  • Best positioned for small and medium-sized cosmetics, daily chemical and food factories with daily output under 10,000 bottles that need both paste and liquid capability — low entry investment and quick to master.
  • For high-viscosity pastes (such as face cream or hair wax), recommend the 316 stainless steel contact parts plus the glass cover option together.
  • For mixed production of round and square bottles, recommend adding the bottle distributing machine to significantly reduce manual bottle loading.
  • Wooden case packing, FOB Ningbo port.

FAQ

Q1: Can this line fill both paste and liquid? A: Yes. The FA4-500 uses piston-type filling with bottom close positive shutoff nozzles, so both pastes (creams, sauces) and liquids (serums, pharmaceutical liquids) can be filled, with ±1% filling accuracy.

Q2: What is the hourly capacity? A: 1200–1800 bottles per hour, depending on bottle type, filling volume and product viscosity.

Q3: Can it fill my bottles? A: It works with common bottle types such as plastic (PET) bottles and glass bottles, and covers a wide range of bottle diameters and heights. We recommend sending bottle and cap samples or drawings so we can confirm compatibility.

Q4: Can the voltage be customised? A: Standard voltage is 220 V 50/60 Hz; it can be customised to local requirements (e.g. 110 V or 380 V).

Q5: What about the warranty? A: The whole machine carries a one-year warranty (counted from start-up in the buyer's factory); free parts are provided for quality problems during the warranty period, and lifetime repair service is available afterwards.

Q6: Is there an operation video for the line? A: Yes — see the operation video and the line working process video in "Media & Materials" below.

6. Workflow

Bottle unscrambling (optional bottle distributing machine) → bottle infeed on conveyor → FA4-500 four-head piston filling → automatic cap placing (cap feeding machine) → DC1 automatic capping → (optional PM-168 inkjet coding) → finished product output
  1. Bottle infeed: Empty bottles are unscrambled and aligned automatically by the bottle distributing machine (optional) and enter the conveyor.
  2. Filling: German SICK photoelectric sensors detect each bottle, then the four FA4-500 filling heads fill simultaneously by piston metering (50–500 ml); bottom close nozzles prevent dripping; no bottle, no filling.
  3. Cap placing: The cap feeding machine sorts caps automatically and delivers them to the capping station.
  4. Capping: The DC1 machine tightens with two screw lids working at the same time; SICK sensors ensure no bottle, no operation.
  5. (Optional) Coding: The PM-168 inkjet printer prints the production date or batch number.
  6. Output: Finished bottles are discharged on the conveyor to labelling or cartoning.
