⚠️ Air Requirements Only — No Electricity: This machine is a fully-pneumatic unit (all-pneumatic drive and control). It must be connected to an air compressor with supply pressure 0.4–0.6 MPa; it requires NO electrical power at all. Difference vs. the FF2 electric-pneumatic series: the FF2 adds an electric control system for steadier filling cycles and finer auto-timer mode; the FF6 contains no electrical components of any kind, making it intrinsically safe and exclusively suited to explosion-proof applications and flammable/alcohol-based/solvent-based products.

ℹ️ Versatility Note: The FF6 is optimized for paste and high-viscosity products (sauce, cream, ointment, honey, ketchup, solvent-based adhesives, flammable pastes, etc.) and also fills free-flowing liquids (water, juice, milk, oil, alcohol-based liquids, solvents, etc.) — one machine covers both paste and liquid filling tasks, with no electricity required.

AI Summary

The FF6 series is Wenzhou T&D's semi-automatic horizontal fully-pneumatic paste filling machine (All-Pneumatic / No Electricity) — designed for customers with explosion-proof duty, flammable product filling, or no on-site electricity. It covers 8 models (FF6-50/100/300/500/1000/2500/3000/5000) with filling ranges from 5–50 ml up to 500–5000 ml. The machine uses a fully-pneumatic architecture — pneumatic drive AND pneumatic control: it needs only compressed air (0.4–0.6 MPa) and no electrical power whatsoever, so it is intrinsically safe for explosion-proof zones and ideal for flammable, alcohol-based or solvent-based products (alcohol-based cosmetics, perfumes, essential oils, solvent-based adhesives, paints, inks, alcohol tinctures, flammable lubricants, etc.). It is fitted with Airtac pneumatic cylinders and air valves and fills at 5–30 cycles/min (paste-tuned — slower than liquid-only fillers because paste requires longer per-stroke settling). The frame is 201 stainless steel, and all product-contact parts are food-grade 304 stainless steel (316 stainless steel available on request). Piston-type volumetric filling delivers ±1% accuracy with bottom-close positive shutoff drip-free nozzles (orifice 5–25 mm selectable, sized for paste flow). The feed system comes with a 30L hopper as standard — hopper footprint 40 × 40 × 48 cm, empty weight 5 kg (compact enough for tabletop or line mounting); 40L, 60L or 80L larger hoppers are optional (larger-hopper dimensions and weight to be confirmed with the factory). Because the machine has no electrics, the stirring hopper (pneumatic-driven) and pressurized hopper (compressed-air-assisted — actually ideal for fully-pneumatic machines) are natural matches; a heating hopper can be configured with steam / hot-water jacket or intrinsically-safe electric heating to suit explosion-proof duty. The single trigger mode is the foot pedal (fully-automatic timer mode is unavailable because there is no electric timer). The filler comes with a single filling head as standard; dual-head, 4-head or 6-head versions can be customized. The FF6 is the cross-sell partner to the FF2 electric-pneumatic series: offer FF2 to customers with stable power and non-flammable products; offer FF6 to customers without power, with explosion-proof duty, or filling flammable / alcohol-based / solvent-based products.

1.2 Applications

Designed for paste and high-viscosity products as the primary use case, with free-flowing liquids (including flammable / alcohol-based / solvent-based liquids) as a secondary capability — one machine, two product categories, no electricity required. Typical products and industries:

Primary — Paste / High-Viscosity (including flammable pastes):

  • Cosmetics & Personal Care (alcohol-based / flammable): alcohol-based hand sanitizer gel, alcohol-based toner, perfume balm, flammable cream
  • Food: sauce, ketchup, jam, honey, peanut butter, chocolate paste, mustard, mayonnaise
  • Daily Chemicals: detergent paste, dish soap (thick), shoe polish
  • Pharmaceutical: ointments, topical creams, medicinal paste, alcohol tinctures (small-volume flammable)
  • Chemical: solvent-based adhesives, flammable lubricants, sealing compounds, paints, inks

Secondary — Free-Flowing Liquids (including flammable liquids):

  • alcohol-based liquids (perfume, essential oil, alcohol tincture, sanitizer base liquid), solvents (thinner, degreaser), paints and inks (low-viscosity), drinking water, juice, milk, edible oil, liquid seasonings

Typical Customers: paste / cosmetic / food producers filling flammable or alcohol-based products; workshops in explosion-proof zones (no electrics allowed); plants without on-site power (remote sites, mobile workshops, certain export regions with unstable grids); pharmaceutical and chemical producers filling flammable solvents; customers who prioritize the lowest possible running cost (no electricity bill at all); businesses filling both paste SKUs and liquid SKUs (including flammable SKUs) and wanting one machine for both.

1.3 Key Functions

  • Piston-type volumetric filling optimized for paste: cylinder-driven piston with adjustable stroke — handles thick products (sauce, cream, ointment, solvent-based adhesive) without splashing or pulling apart; volume is steplessly adjustable within the model range; change specs without changing parts
  • Liquid-capable as a bonus (incl. flammable liquids): switch from paste to liquid (including alcohol-based / solvent-based liquids) with a nozzle change and a piston-stroke adjustment; one machine covers both product categories with full explosion-proof safety
  • Fully-pneumatic drive and control — no electricity: pneumatic actuation governed by pneumatic valves; no electrics anywhere on the machine; no fuses, no relays, no timers, no PLC — intrinsic safety by construction
  • Single trigger mode — foot pedal: operator triggers each cycle with a foot pedal; fully-automatic timer mode is not available on the fully-pneumatic architecture (this is the trade-off vs. FF2's electric control: lose auto-timer, gain explosion-proof safety)
  • Drip-free filling: bottom-close positive shutoff nozzles — discharge seals the moment filling ends; no stringing, no dripping, no paste tail on bottle mouths (critical for cosmetic, food and flammable-product applications)
  • Customizable filling heads: single head as standard; dual (2-head), 4-head or 6-head configurations available for proportionally higher output
  • Adjustable fill volume and speed: match different container formats (small jars, large buckets) and line paces
  • Flexible hopper / feed options: standard 30L hopper; optional 40L / 60L / 80L larger hoppers reduce refill stops. Because the machine is fully pneumatic, the stirring hopper (pneumatic-driven) and the pressurized hopper (compressed-air-assisted feeding) are natural matches; a heating hopper can be fitted with a steam / hot-water jacket or intrinsically-safe electric heating for explosion-proof duty — match the hopper option to the product characteristics.

2. Key Advantages

Fully-pneumatic / no electricity is the biggest selling point of this series — the first five advantages below all center on it. Explosion-proof safety is the headline benefit.

  1. No electricity at all — intrinsically safe, explosion-proof by construction. The FF6 contains no electric components whatsoever (no motors, no solenoids, no timers, no relays, no PLC). It runs on compressed air only (0.4–0.6 MPa). Because there are no electrics to spark, the machine is intrinsically safe and suited to explosion-proof zones and flammable / alcohol-based / solvent-based product filling — opening markets that the FF2 electric-pneumatic series simply cannot serve.
  2. Drop-in for flammable, alcohol-based or solvent-based products. For products like alcohol-based hand sanitizer, perfume, alcohol tincture, essential oil, solvent-based adhesive, paint, ink, thinner, flammable lubricant — the FF6 fills them safely without ignition risk. The FF2 cannot do this; the FF6 is the answer.
  3. No power supply needed — works anywhere. The machine needs only an air compressor. It runs in workshops with no on-site electricity, remote sites, mobile lines, regions with unstable grids, and field deployments. No electrician, no voltage matching, no grounding concerns — just connect the air line and go.
  4. No electricity bill — the lowest possible running cost. Because the machine consumes zero electrical power, the only utility cost is compressed air. For high-duty-cycle plants this materially cuts recurring cost; for occasional users it removes electricity from the operating budget entirely.
  5. Simple to operate — connect air and start. Connect an air compressor (0.4–0.6 MPa), and production can begin. There is no electric control panel to learn — just a pneumatic control manifold and a foot pedal. New operators learn in minutes.
  6. Airtac pneumatic cylinders and air valves. Taiwan Airtac cylinders and pneumatic valves deliver stable action and long service life. Spare parts are available worldwide and long-term maintenance cost stays low. No electrics means no electric spare parts, no relay boards, no sensor failures.
  7. ±1% filling accuracy + drip-free nozzles. Piston metering is stable and reliable for paste (no under/over-fill); bottom-close positive shutoff nozzles eliminate dripping, stringing and paste tailing, keeping bottle mouths and the workbench clean — essential for cosmetic jars, food containers, and especially for flammable products where residue on a bottle mouth is a fire hazard.
  8. Pressurized hopper is a perfect natural match. Because the FF6 runs on compressed air, the pressurized hopper (compressed-air-assisted feeding) integrates seamlessly — no extra power source needed. For very viscous pastes (adhesives, heavy grease, thick chocolate paste) the pressurized hopper turns "hard-to-feed" into "steady supply".
  9. 8 models cover 5–5000 ml; changeover at zero cost. Adjust the piston stroke to change the fill volume — no parts replacement needed; a spec change takes just 2–3 minutes. Covers everything from sample-size cosmetic jars to large buckets.
  10. 201 stainless steel frame + food-grade 304 stainless steel contact parts; 316 available. The all-stainless frame and food-grade product-contact parts meet food-safety requirements as standard (304); product-contact parts can be customized in 316 stainless steel for stronger acid/alkali and corrosion resistance — suited to pharmaceutical, chemical and corrosive products. A stainless steel valve assembly resists corrosion and is easy to keep clean.
  11. Flexible hopper — 30L standard, 40L/60L/80L optional, stirring/pressurized/heating configurable. Standard 30L hopper; 40L, 60L or 80L larger sizes cut refill stops on high-volume lines. For hard-to-handle products, fit a stirring hopper (pneumatic-driven, no electrics), a pressurized hopper (compressed-air-assisted feeding — native fit) or a heating hopper (steam / hot-water / intrinsically-safe electric heating for explosion-proof duty) — match the hopper to the product.
  12. Horizontal, compact and lightweight. The horizontal body has a small footprint and weighs only 22–32 kg (net), so it fits on a tabletop, workbench or in an existing line and is easy to move.
  13. Food-grade silicone seals (rated 200 °C). Food-safe silicone O-rings as standard; corrosion-resistant rubber seals can be fitted when filling corrosive or sticky products.
  14. Multi-head expandable (2-head / 4-head / 6-head). Start with a single head; when volume grows, upgrade to a dual/4-head/6-head machine (one pneumatic cylinder per head) — no equipment replacement, no wasted investment.
  15. Cross-sell partner to the FF2. The FF2 (electric-pneumatic, with auto-timer) and the FF6 (fully-pneumatic, no electricity, explosion-proof) form a complementary pair: offer FF2 to customers with stable power and non-flammable products; offer FF6 to customers without power, with explosion-proof duty, or filling flammable / alcohol-based / solvent-based products. The pair covers both customer types — no order is lost.

Talking Points:

  • Customer fills flammable / alcohol-based / solvent-based products (alcohol-based hand sanitizer, perfume, essential oil, alcohol tincture, solvent-based adhesive, paint, ink, thinner, flammable lubricant) → lead with the FF6: it contains no electrics and is intrinsically safe for these products — the FF2 cannot be used here.
  • Customer's workshop is an explosion-proof zone, or has no electricity at all (remote site, mobile line, unstable grid) → lead with the FF6: only compressed air is required, so it works anywhere and in any hazardous area.
  • Customer fills paste / high-viscosity materials (sauce, jam, cream, ointment, ketchup, honey, lotion, adhesive) → lead with the FF6: piston-type design handles thick products without splashing; bottom-close positive shutoff nozzle eliminates paste residue on bottle mouths; ±1% accuracy. Recommend the pressurized hopper for very viscous pastes.
  • Customer fills both paste AND liquids (incl. flammable liquids) → FF6 covers both product categories with full explosion-proof safety — change the nozzle, adjust the piston stroke, switch products in minutes.
  • Customer values the lowest possible running cost → emphasize "0 W electrical power — only compressed air"; the FF6 has the lowest recurring utility cost of any filler in the line.
  • Customer wants stable cycles AND has stable power AND product is non-flammableswitch to the FF2 electric-pneumatic series instead: electric control keeps cycles consistent in long runs and the auto-timer mode enables fully-automatic filling. The FF6 is for explosion-proof / no-electricity / flammable-product customers; the FF2 is for stable-power / non-flammable customers.
  • Customer fills only free-flowing non-flammable liquids → guide them to the F2 liquid filler instead — FF6 is over-spec for liquid-only non-flammable lines.
  • Customer fills multiple specifications → emphasize "adjust the stroke to change the volume — no parts change; one machine replaces several."
  • Customer has no air compressor → proactively remind them: this machine still requires an air compressor (0.4–0.6 MPa) — offer to add one to the order so the machine can run on arrival. (The FF6 does NOT eliminate the air-compressor requirement; it only eliminates the electricity requirement.)
  • Customer's paste is very viscous and hard to feed → recommend the pressurized hopper: compressed-air-assisted feeding gives a steady supply, and because the machine is fully pneumatic, the pressurized hopper integrates natively without any extra power source.
  • Customer needs higher output → steer them to a dual/4-head/6-head multi-head machine — one pneumatic cylinder per head; emphasize "start single-head, upgrade to multi-head, without changing the machine."
  • Customer runs big batches and the hopper frequently runs dry → recommend a 40L / 60L / 80L larger hopper to cut refill stops and keep the line running.
  • Customer's workbench / line footprint is tight → emphasize the standard 30L hopper is 40 × 40 × 48 cm and weighs only 5 kg empty — it sits directly on a tabletop or workbench with no special bracket, and stays put on a vibrating line because the machine body itself is heavier (22–32 kg net) and stable.
  • Customer handles pharmaceutical / chemical / corrosive products → promote custom 316 stainless steel contact parts — corrosion resistance sorted in one step.
  • Trading terms (standard quotation wording): MOQ 1 unit; FOB Ningbo / EXW Wenzhou; T/T payment; goods in stock; heavy-duty carton packing with tools and spare parts included.

4.2 FAQ

Q1: Does this machine need electricity? A: No. The FF6 series is a fully-pneumatic unit (All-Pneumatic Drive and Control): the machine contains no electric components whatsoever — no motors, no solenoids, no timers, no relays, no PLC. It runs entirely on compressed air and requires only an air compressor (0.4–0.6 MPa). There is no electricity involved, no electricity bill, and no ignition source — making it intrinsically safe for explosion-proof duty.

Q2: Do I need an air compressor? A: Yes. The FF6 is fully pneumatic, so it must be connected to an air compressor supplying 0.4–0.6 MPa. An ordinary small piston-type compressor (with an air receiver/tank) is sufficient; one can also be added to the order.

Q3: Is the machine explosion-proof? Can it fill alcohol-based or solvent-based products? A: Yes — this is the FF6's biggest selling point. The FF6 contains no electric components, so there is no ignition source on the machine. It is intrinsically safe / explosion-proof by construction and is suited to filling flammable, alcohol-based or solvent-based products (alcohol-based hand sanitizer, perfume, essential oil, alcohol tincture, solvent-based adhesive, paint, ink, thinner, flammable lubricant, etc.) and to operation in explosion-proof zones. If the customer needs to fill flammable products, the FF6 is the only option in this product line.

Q4: What are the filling accuracy and speed? A: Accuracy is within ±1% (piston-type metering — stable, no drift); speed is 5–30 cycles/min (paste-tuned; slower than liquid-only fillers because paste requires longer per-stroke settling), and the filling speed is adjustable.

Q5: Can it fill both paste and liquids? Can it handle flammable products? A: Yes — the FF6 is optimized for paste and high-viscosity products, and also fills free-flowing liquids, including flammable / alcohol-based / solvent-based products in both categories. Primary use: sauce, ketchup, jam, honey, peanut butter, chocolate paste, mustard, mayonnaise; flammable or alcohol-based cosmetic creams and gels; ointments; flammable or solvent-based adhesives, paints, inks; flammable lubricants. Secondary use: alcohol-based liquids (perfume, essential oil, alcohol tincture, sanitizer base liquid), solvents, plus water, juice, milk, edible oil. One machine covers both paste and liquid categories with full explosion-proof safety — change the nozzle, adjust the piston stroke, switch product categories in minutes.

Q6: Can it run fully automatically with an electric timer? A: No. Because the FF6 is fully pneumatic with no electric components, the automatic electric-timer mode is not available — the machine supports foot-pedal triggered filling only, i.e. semi-automatic mode. Each cycle is initiated by the operator pressing the foot pedal. If the customer needs fully-automatic filling cycles with no operator, they should choose the FF2 electric-pneumatic series (which adds the electric timer) — provided the workshop is not in an explosion-proof zone and the product is not flammable.

Q7: How is the FF6 different from the FF2 paste filler? A: Both are piston-type paste fillers covering 5–5000 ml with the same hopper options and same nozzle range. The differences:

  • FF2 is electric-pneumatic integrated — needs 220V/50–60Hz (~100W) plus air (0.4–0.6 MPa). Electric control keeps cycle timing steady and enables automatic timer mode. Better for long continuous runs and stable cycle rhythm. Not suited to explosion-proof zones or flammable products.
  • FF6 is fully pneumatic — needs only air (0.4–0.6 MPa); no electricity whatsoever. Intrinsically safe for explosion-proof duty and flammable / alcohol-based / solvent-based products. Trade-off: loses the auto-timer mode (foot pedal only) and the electric-controlled cycle stability of the FF2.

Choose FF2 when: workshop has stable power, product is non-flammable, customer wants the steadiest cycles and auto-timer mode. Choose FF6 when: workshop has no power, is in an explosion-proof zone, or the product is flammable / alcohol-based / solvent-based.

Q8: Are the product-contact materials food grade? A: The frame is 201 stainless steel and all product-contact parts are food-grade 304 stainless steel, meeting food-safety requirements; 316 stainless steel can be customized (greater acid/alkali and corrosion resistance — suited to pharmaceutical, chemical and corrosive products). Seals are food-grade silicone (rated 200 °C).

Q9: Will it drip, string or paste-tail? A: No. The nozzle uses a bottom-close positive shutoff design — the discharge closes the moment filling ends, guaranteeing drip-free operation. For paste applications this is critical: no stringing, no paste tail, no residue on the bottle mouth. For flammable products this is also a fire-safety benefit — no flammable residue on the bottle mouth. Nozzle orifices can be selected within a 5–25 mm range (sized for paste flow).

Q10: Is changing the fill volume or switching between paste and liquid troublesome? A: Not at all. Within the model's range you simply adjust the piston stroke to change the fill volume — no parts replacement needed; a changeover takes only a few minutes. Switching between paste and liquid is also simple: change the nozzle (paste nozzle vs. liquid nozzle) and adjust the piston stroke and speed — a few minutes, no tools required.

Q11: Can the hopper be customized for hard-to-feed pastes? What about the heating hopper on an explosion-proof machine? A: Yes. The hopper comes standard at 30L, with 40L, 60L or 80L larger options for high-volume lines. Because the FF6 is fully pneumatic, the pressurized hopper (compressed-air-assisted feeding) and the stirring hopper (pneumatic-driven) are natural fits and need no extra power source. The heating hopper can be configured with a steam / hot-water jacket or intrinsically-safe electric heating to maintain explosion-proof duty — please confirm the exact heating method with the factory when ordering.

Q12: What are the MOQ, delivery time and warranty? A: MOQ is 1 unit; the factory keeps goods in stock for fast dispatch; export packing is a heavy-duty carton, one machine per case, with tools and spare parts included. The machine carries a 1-year warranty (free repair or part replacement for non-human damage during the warranty period; international freight borne by the customer), with lifetime maintenance service after the warranty period.

Switching between paste and liquid is also simple: change the nozzle (paste vs. liquid) and adjust the piston stroke and speed — a few minutes, no tools required."

"text": "No. The nozzle uses a bottom-close positive shutoff design — the discharge closes the moment filling ends. For paste applications this guarantees no stringing, no paste tail, no residue on bottle mouths. For flammable products this is also a fire-safety benefit — no flammable residue left on bottle mouths. Nozzle orifices can be selected within a 5–25 mm range sized for paste flow."

        "@type": "Answer",

Because the FF6 is fully pneumatic, the pressurized hopper (compressed-air-assisted feeding) and the stirring hopper (pneumatic-driven) are natural fits requiring no extra power source. The heating hopper can be configured with a steam / hot-water jacket or intrinsically-safe electric heating to maintain explosion-proof duty — please confirm the exact heating method with the factory when ordering."

Materials confirmed on the quotation: tools and spare parts included; one machine per case; heavy-duty (thickened) carton; CE certification documents.

6. Workflow

6.1 Filling Operation Flow

① Setup
Connect air compressor; regulate supply to 0.4–0.6 MPa
   (NO electrical power connection needed)
        │
② Feed
   Add the paste (or liquid — incl. flammable / alcohol-based / solvent-based
products) into the hopper (standard 30L; 40/60/80L optional)
(stirring / pressurized / heating hopper for products that need it)
        │
③ Set Volume
Adjust piston stroke → set the fill volume per cycle (stepless within range)
Adjust filling speed if needed (paste: typically 5–30 cycles/min)
        │
④ Place Container
Position the jar / bottle / bucket directly under the filling nozzle
(paste: use paste nozzle 5–25 mm; liquid: switch to liquid nozzle 5–25 mm)
        │
⑤ Trigger Filling
Foot pedal (semi-automatic mode — the only mode on fully-pneumatic FF6)
        │
⑥ Filled (accuracy ±1%)
Bottom-close positive shutoff nozzle → no dripping, no stringing,
no paste tail (and no flammable residue on bottle mouths)
        │
⑦ Next Container — Repeat
   Repeat ④–⑥ at 5–30 cycles/min (paste)
        │
⑧ Cleaning & Shutdown
   Stop the machine; disconnect air;
   disassemble and rinse hopper / piston / filling nozzle;
clean before switching to a different product

6.2 Sales Workflow (from inquiry to delivery)

  1. Requirement confirmation: fill volume per cycle (ml), speed requirement, product type (paste / liquid / both, AND whether flammable / alcohol-based / solvent-based) — drives model range, nozzle size and the FF6 vs. FF2 decision; whether the workshop has electrical power (no power → confirm FF6; stable power + non-flammable → FF2 may suffice); whether the workshop is in an explosion-proof zone (yes → FF6 only); whether the customer already has an air compressor (the FF6 still requires one).
  2. Model recommendation: if explosion-proof / no-electricity / flammable / alcohol-based / solvent-based paste (or paste + liquid) → recommend FF6-50 ~ FF6-5000 per the 4.1 table; if stable power + non-flammable paste → recommend the FF2 series instead; for higher output, recommend a dual/4/6-head multi-head version.
  3. FF6 vs. FF2 routing rule: quick decision — flammable / no-power / explosion-proof zone / alcohol / solvent → FF6; stable power + non-flammable + wants auto-timer → FF2.
  4. Supporting equipment check: confirm an air compressor (0.4–0.6 MPa, with delivery volume covering the machine's air consumption) is available; confirm that for flammable products the hopper option is suitable (pressurized hopper is a native fit; heating hopper requires the factory's intrinsically-safe variant).
  5. Lock technical details: material (304 / custom 316), nozzle orifice (5–25 mm), seals (silicone / corrosion-resistant rubber), number of filling heads (single / dual / 4 / 6), hopper option (30L/40L/60L/80L + stirring / pressurized / heating), flammable-product handling.
  6. Quotation & terms: MOQ 1 unit; FOB Ningbo / EXW Wenzhou; T/T; goods in stock; heavy-duty carton packing with tools and spare parts included.
  7. Order → shipment: ships from stock, one machine per case, export heavy-duty carton packing.
  8. After-sales support: 1-year warranty (free repair/part replacement; international freight borne by the customer), lifetime maintenance service after warranty; operation video and remote guidance provided.
