Product Specifications: MAP Series Automatic Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) Machine

Automatic MAP Machine

1. Product Overview

  • Product Category: Food Packaging Machinery / Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) Machine.
  • Usage Scenarios: Widely used for fresh meat, deli foods, marinated products, fruits and vegetables, seafood, mushrooms, and chilled ready-to-eat meals. Suitable for small to medium-sized food processing plants, supermarket back-of-house operations, and catering chain centers.
  • Core Functions: Integrates vacuum extraction, gas flushing (Nitrogen/Gas Mix), heat sealing, film cutting, and photoelectric alignment. By altering the atmosphere inside the package, it inhibits bacterial growth and significantly extends food shelf life.

2. Key Advantages

  1. Premium Components, Stable Performance: Equipped with Xinjie (XINJE) touch screen and PLC control system, ensuring precision and durability under high-intensity operation.
  2. Extended Shelf Life: High-vacuum capability combined with precise gas replacement technology effectively prevents mold, spoilage, and oxidation, preserving the original color, taste, and texture of the food.
  3. Compact Design & High Hygiene Standards: Built with high-quality carbon steel and stainless steel, meeting food safety standards. Its small footprint allows for flexible placement and mobility.
  4. Precision Film Cutting: Equipped with an automatic photoelectric sensor system to ensure film patterns are perfectly aligned and edges are cut cleanly and aesthetically.

4. Mold & Consumables Specifications

1. Mold Configuration and Dimensions

The total mold dimension is 640 * 440 mm. The standard machine supports a maximum tray height of 50 mm (Height can be customized upon request).

Based on your packaging requirements, the mold cavity configurations and maximum tray sizes are as follows: * 4 Cavities: Maximum tray size per unit: 280 * 180 mm. * 3 Cavities: Maximum tray size per unit: 390 * 175 mm.

2. Consumable Recommendations

To ensure optimal sealing quality and preservation results, the sealing film must be strictly matched to the tray material: * Film Specifications: The machine supports a maximum film width of 440 mm. We recommend a standard film thickness of 80 microns. * PP Trays: We suggest using compatible PP sealing film. * PET or CPET Trays: We recommend upgrading to EVOH high-barrier sealing film. While EVOH film is priced higher, its superior oxygen barrier performance significantly extends the product's shelf life.

5. Sales Strategy & FAQ

Sales Strategy

  • Pain Point Marketing: Emphasize the advantages of "cold chain transport" and "extended shelf life." For fresh food e-commerce or ready-meal sellers, this machine is crucial for reducing spoilage and enhancing brand value.
  • Customized Solutions: Highlight the customizability of the tray molds. Since different clients have varying tray shapes, inform them that we provide one-on-one mold development services.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  • Q: Do I need to prepare the preservation gas myself?
    • A: Yes, the machine requires an external gas supply. We recommend consulting a local gas supplier based on your specific food product (common mixtures include pure Nitrogen or N2/O2/CO2 mixes).
  • Q: Does it support multiple tray sizes?
    • A: The MAP series supports mold changes within the maximum dimension limits, offering high flexibility and multi-purpose functionality.
  • Q: What is the vacuum replacement rate?
    • A: Our technology ensures residual oxygen in the package drops to an extremely low level (usually < 1%), representing an industry-leading replacement rate.

7. Workflow

  1. Manual Tray Placement: Operator places the product-filled trays into the mold.
  2. Automatic Feeding: The machine automatically pushes the mold into the working chamber.
  3. Vacuum & Gas Flushing: The system automatically extracts air and fills the chamber with the pre-set mixture of preservation gas.
  4. Heat Sealing & Film Cutting: Synchronized completion of heat sealing and trimming of excess film edges.
  5. Photoelectric Correction: The sensor identifies the film mark to ensure the design is perfectly centered.
  6. Automatic Discharge: After packaging, the mold is automatically pushed out.
  7. Manual Unloading: Operator removes the finished product and repeats the cycle.
