1.2 Working Principle

The machine operates primarily through the coordination of two major systems: "Tension Unwinding + PLC-Controlled Heat Sealing/Cutting": 1. Automatic Unwinding & Guiding (EPC): The film roll is mounted on the unwinding stand. Through a magnetic powder tension controller and an EPC (Edge Position Control) system, the film is fed forward smoothly, consistently, and without deviation. 2. Heat Sealing & Cutting: A photocell sensor tracks the printed color marks on the film for precise positioning. Based on the parameters set on the touch screen, the heat sealing knife (or high-frequency mold) instantly heats and presses the film to seal it (or attach a zipper). Finally, the cutting knife accurately severs the bag, and the machine automatically counts and outputs the finished product.

3.1 Selection by "Film Material & Bag Type" (Top Priority)

  1. Single-layer transparent plastics (OPP/BOPP/PE): If the bag only needs side sealing (e.g., clothing bags, toast bags), choose the OPP Series.
  2. Requires a Zipper/Ziplock: Choose the TD-ZB700 or PE800/900/1000 Series. The machine features built-in zipper guides for one-step forming, perfect for apparel storage bags.
  3. Food-grade / Vacuum / Laminated Materials (Alu-foil, Paper-plastic, Nylon): You must select the TDZD Series. Only the high-pressure sealing mechanisms and multi-servo systems of this series can process rigid laminated films to create airtight central-seal, 3-side seal, and gusset pouches.

3.2 Selection by "Bag Size" (Width & Length)

  • The machine model usually indicates the Maximum Bag Width it can process (e.g., OPP-600 makes bags up to 600mm wide).
  • Golden Rule: A large machine can make small bags, but a small machine cannot make large bags. We recommend choosing a model that is 50-100mm wider than your daily maximum bag size.
  • Pro Tip: Unless you specifically need ultra-large bags, avoid blindly choosing the largest model (like the 1000 series), as they consume more power and space. The OPP-700/800 or TDZD-500 are often the best-balanced mainstream choices.

3.3 Selection by "Add-on Functions"

  • If you need to produce supermarket hanging bags with round/butterfly holes, or garment bags with air exhaust holes, please inform us when purchasing so we can equip the machine with the corresponding pneumatic punchers.

IV. General Technical FAQ

4.1 Power & Air Supply

Q: What power supply is required? Do I need an air compressor? A: Standard equipment requires Industrial 3-Phase 380V (50Hz/60Hz). We offer customized voltages (e.g., 220V 3-phase) to meet your local standards. An air compressor is mandatory and must be prepared by the customer. The pneumatic cutters, punchers, and feeding mechanisms require a stable air supply (ranging from 3HP to 6.5HP depending on the model).

4.2 Printed Bags & Photocell Tracking

Q: Can the machine process bags with color printed patterns? A: Yes. All our models are equipped with a Photocell Color Mark Tracking System. Simply align the photocell sensor with the printed eye-mark on the film before operation. The machine will automatically track and cut accurately. If a mark is missed, the machine will automatically alarm and stop, preventing waste.

4.3 Consumables & Maintenance

Q: What are the consumable parts? Is operation difficult? A: Core consumables include heat sealing/cutting blades, high-temperature Teflon tape, and silicone rollers. These are wear-and-tear items not covered by the 1-year warranty; we recommend purchasing spare parts with your machine. Operation is managed via a PLC + Touch Screen (Multi-language supported). However, as this is heavy industrial automated equipment, operators must be trained by factory technicians to handle threading, temperature tuning, and length setting before working independently.


V. Customization & Extension Capabilities

5.1 Diverse Hole Punching & Cutting Customization

We support adding the following to our machines: - Hanger Hole Punchers: Round holes, airplane holes, butterfly holes (for retail display). - Exhaust Hole Punchers: Matrix small round holes (allows air to escape when packing clothes). - Specialty Sealing/Cutting: Lace heat sealing, round corner punchers, dotted-line cutters (for tear-off roll bags).

5.2 Advanced Modules for the TDZD Series

For high-end packaging needs on the TDZD series, we can add Stand-up Pouch Formers, Zipper Insertion Modules, and Handle Hole Punchers, allowing one machine to produce standard 3-side seal bags, stand-up zipper nut pouches, and heavy-duty rice bags with handles.

5.3 Ultra-Long Bag Solutions

If you need bags longer than the machine's single physical stroke, our TDZD series features a 6-Times Skip Feeding Function (controlled via servo programming to pull the film N times before making one cut), enabling a maximum bag length of up to an impressive 2100mm.


VI. Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)

Regardless of the series you purchase, the basic operational logic remains highly consistent:

  1. Pre-Startup Check (Power & Air):
  2. Verify power and air compressor connections. Clean any residual glue or dirt from the sealing knives and rollers.
  3. Ensure optional punchers or modules are securely installed.
  4. Loading Roll & Threading Film:
  5. Mount the film roll (and zipper roll, if applicable) onto the rear unwinding stand.
  6. Strictly follow the "Threading Diagram" to guide the film through the rollers, tension dancing rollers, EPC sensor, photocell, and finally into the sealing/cutting stations.
  7. Parameter Setting & Heating:
  8. Input the target bag length, production speed, and batch count on the touch screen.
  9. Turn on the heaters and set the temperature (usually 150℃-220℃, depending on film material and thickness). Wait for the temperature to stabilize. For printed film, activate and calibrate the photocell sensor.
  10. Low-Speed Testing & QC:
  11. Jog the machine at a low speed (e.g., 30 pcs/min) to produce a few samples.
  12. Perform the 3-Point QC Check: Pull the seal to test strength (Does it tear?), measure the bag (Is the length accurate?), and inspect the cut (Is it clean and wire-free?).
  13. High-Speed Mass Production:
  14. Once samples pass QC, gradually increase to normal production speed (e.g., 100 pcs/min) on the screen and switch to fully automatic mode.
  15. The operator should monitor the machine and spot-check products periodically. The machine will automatically alarm/stop when the set batch count is reached. Shut off heaters and clean remnants after production ends.
