YYD Series Single-Head Single-Color Floor-Standing Open Inkwell Pad Printing Machines

This series consists of single-head, single-color floor-standing open-inkwell (Open Inkwell) pad printing machines in three models — YYD-125-100 / YYD-200-150 / YYD-225-200 — distinguished by steel-plate size and print area while sharing identical ink-supply method.

Core Abstract The YYD Series comprises single-head, single-color floor-standing open-inkwell pad printing machines available in three models — YYD-125-100, YYD-200-150, and YYD-225-200 — differentiated by steel-plate size and print area while sharing identical operation and ink supply. It is best suited to automotive parts, stationery, daily goods, gifts, electronic components, toys, and garment-tag manufacturers requiring small-area, single-color logo, text, and graphic printing for sampling and small-to-medium batch production. Its core advantages include a floor-standing body that stays stable and low-noise during high-speed runs without needing an extra workbench; an open-inkwell system for effortless cleaning, fast color changeovers, and lower maintenance cost than sealed cups; With print areas from 60×60 mm up to 150×70 mm and speeds up to 2300 pcs/hr, it offers a flexible, cost-effective production range.

3. Applications

  • Industry Applications: Widely used for small-area logo, text, and graphic printing across automotive parts, stationery, daily goods, gifts, electronic components, toys, and garment tags.
  • Printing Scope: Suitable for single-color pad printing on flat, slightly curved, and small-to-medium irregular substrates.
  • Production Scale: Ideal for sample proofing, small-batch customization, e-commerce DIY sellers, and brand specialty stores.

4. Core Functions

  • Circuit Board Control: Circuit-board controlled buttons deliver stable, reliable operation with a simple, easy-to-learn interface.
  • Digital Counter: A built-in digital counter tracks the print quantity in real time.
  • Worktable & Print-Head Micro-Adjustment: The worktable supports up/down and forward/back micro-adjustment, while the print-head position supports forward/back and left/right micro-adjustment — enabling precise registration of substrates of different heights and thicknesses and fast changeover. The fixed printing stroke design ensures stable operation.

II. Core Advantages

  • Floor-Standing Cast-Aluminum Body: The whole machine adopts a floor-standing vertical body structure with a low center of gravity and stable support — it does not shake or deform during prolonged high-speed printing and runs with low noise.
  • Open Inkwell Ink Supply: Uses an independent open inkwell plus doctor blade for ink supply — an extremely simple structure that is easy to disassemble and clean, with quick color changes. It adapts to a wide range of ink viscosities, making it the most economical solution for small-batch, multi-variety sampling and changeover, with clearly lower maintenance cost than sealed cup systems.

III. Operation & Workflow

1. Required Materials

  • Substrate: Fabric, metal, automotive parts, stationery, daily goods, electronic components, toys, instruments, and other small-to-medium flat / slightly curved / irregular workpieces.
  • Consumables: Steel plate, fixture, rubber head, ink, thinner, doctor blade.
  • Air Pressure: 5 bar. An air compressor is required.
  • Power Supply: 110V or 220V, factory-configured per the customer's destination voltage.

2. Standard Workflow

  1. Air Supply Connection: Connect 5 bar compressed air, check for leaks, then power on.
  2. Steel Plate & Rubber Head Installation: Load the etched steel plate into the open inkwell base, mount the pad printing rubber head, and pour a proper amount of prepared ink into the open inkwell.
  3. Trial Printing & Adjustment: Place a sample substrate, press the control-panel start button to test print, and fine-tune the inkwell doctoring stroke, print-head, and worktable positions according to pattern sharpness.
  4. Mass Production: After adjustment, start formal printing; the counter automatically accumulates the print count for easy production management.
  5. Shutdown & Maintenance: After work, shut off the air and power, clean residual ink from the open inkwell, wipe the rubber head and steel plate with cleaning agent, and keep the machine dry.

IV. Sales Tips & FAQ

Sales Tips

  • Model Selection Guide: Recommend by print area — small parts / sampling: choose YYD-125-100 (100×100 mm plate, 2300 pcs/hr, most flexible); medium area: choose YYD-200-150 (150×100 mm plate); large area: choose YYD-225-200 (200×100 mm plate).
  • Promote "Floor-Standing, Stable & Space-Saving": Small western workshops and e-commerce DIY sellers are sensitive to both equipment stability and footprint. This series uses a floor-standing vertical structure — small footprint, stable body, no extra workbench required — that can stand independently in a production line or workshop corner. Emphasize "ready to produce right after connecting air and power."
  • Bundle Sales Suggestion: Bundle with consumables such as steel plates, fixtures, rubber heads, and doctor blades to raise average order value and customer stickiness.

FAQ

  • Q: Can this machine use 110V voltage in the United States?
  • A: Yes. We provide both 110V (North American standard) and 220V (European/Asian standard) versions, factory-preset to the customer's destination voltage, and equipped with power plugs that comply with local standards.
  • Q: Does it need to be connected to an air compressor?
  • A: Yes, the machine needs to be connected to an air compressor — you can prepare your own or purchase one from us.
  • Q: How do I choose among YYD-125-100 / YYD-200-150 / YYD-225-200?
  • A: All three share identical ink supply; the difference lies in steel-plate size and print area: YYD-125-100 suits small-area sampling; YYD-200-150 suits medium areas; YYD-225-200 has the largest plate (200×200 mm) and suits large areas. Select based on product size and maximum pattern size.
